Florio Design developed the first PGA Handbook, A Practical Guide to the United Nations General Assembly, sponsored by the Swiss Mission to the UN. Conceived as a resource and learning document detailing the organization’s vast structure, governance, processes and resources, it is targeted to the member states and the president of the UN assembly. Befitting a Swiss-inspired publication, the booklet was both functional in its ease of use and grid and colored in contemporary Swiss style. Working together with the mission, Florio Design created a "handle-able" book—easy to read and access—and included informational tables, a tabbed numerical system for fast cross-referencing, and sidebars throughout alerting reader to interesting anecdotes and quick references that clarified complex topics. This booklet was the first UN reference guide to aggregate such a vast range of institutional information. Our greatest honor was being invited to that session’s opening assembly to witness the distribution of this guide.
